INVISIBLE BUTTON

USING THE “INVISIBLE BUTTON” TO REFRESH OR LOCK THE SCREEN:

If you want the touchscreen to immediately display your latest changes, go to the touchscreen itself and press the “invisible button” in the far upper-right corner. It may take two or three attempts to find this invisible button, but feel around — it’s there.

Once pressed, this button will bring up a hidden ‘administrator option’ list. Select “Refresh The Screen” and the touchscreen will instantly display all the latest changes you have entered.

This button can also be used to instantly lock or unlock all touchscreen functionality without programming “Shabbat Lock” hours. You may find this useful in a situation where you want to prevent children from inappropriately interacting with the screen. Simply press the invisible button, then select “Lock The Screen” or “Unlock The Screen”.

Always take care not to let any congregants — particularly children — see you pressing the invisible button. Ideally no one but a yahrzeit administrator should be aware of its existence.
